The news first broke at this gossip website TMZ at around 5am Msia time this morning. At first I thought it was just another crazy gossip, but within 2 hours later, almost EVERY NEWS site in NZ, USA, BBC, Aussie starting to report the news!!! This shows how much influence Michael Jackson still rules the media. This breaking news totally overshadowed the Farah Fawcett's news which broke on the same morning.
It's indeed a very sad day, I grew up in the 80's listening to all his songs like Billie Jean, Man In The Mirror, and I still remember EVERYONE in my Penang Free School back in the 80's who tried at least once to do the moonwalk.
The impact of MJ to the schoolkids growing up in the 80's is unprecedented, almost every talentshow or concerts in secondary schools at that time would have either a MJ song, or somebody imitating MJ's dance moves or somebody dressing up like him. I still remember in the 80's PFS there was a guy who performed MJ's songs and he can dance & moonwalk like MJ, he became the girls idol for that......
Well, gone is another era, and gone is another legend, this one particularly affected me because his music connected many of us back in those days. RIP MJ ! ! !

Come to think of it I even borrowed my first name from him, and my brother borrowed Jackson & improved it by changing to Jickson. Those were the days, my brothers & sisters. Heal the world, MJ fans!

Lets pray that MJ is now in a better place and his songs will continue to inspire many more new artists to come.
Shock & sad..been listens to his songs in 80's till now. Still listens his songs like beat it, billie jean,black or white..etc.
Its really entertaining. His moonwalk moves is unique.
Perhaps the bad press & scandals has burried him to his death.
